I have always wanted to take a trip to Italy, but I'm not quite sure where to go. I am an intermediate photographer and I want to go somewhere with great architecture and great natural scenery. Any advice on where I should visit or where I should stay?

u definitely must visit Rome, which is a really amazing city. I'd suggest to go to Venice, Florence and Pisa as well. For what concerns natural scenery Toscany has beautiful natural views. And u'll probably like Sicily too.

If you want to visit beautiful places which are not that famous around the world u can find amazing mountains in the region of Trentino Alto Adige.

I hope these information will be useful, for any tip contact me.

If you like the water, and interesting architecture, Sicily is great. Taormina and Giardini Naxos offer beautiful views of the Mediterranean. Agrigento is the location of Greek ruins that are fascinating. Palermo has the catacombs, and Zafferana is a nice little town on Mount Etna, which offers interesting subject matter as it is an active volcano.

Architecture, go to Rome. Natural scenery, go to Almalfi Coast. There are 2 places, very quite, very few tourist and very unique and great for both picture taking and visiting: Matera and Viterbo, google them.

Florence, Rome and Venice are very nice cities. Assissi and Padua are also very nice to see. You would probably be able to get beautiful pictures in most of the cities because it is a beautiful country.
