I pray the Hail Mary everyday; I'm looking for a prayer that will help a sad Mother regain strength and courage to continue fighting for the safe return of her baby boy.

The Rosary. Journey through the joyful, sorrowful and glorious mysteries....enter into Mary's experience- she lost her Son, too---TWICE--- and each time her was returned to her, though not necessarily as she expected.

The lesson to be learned from Mary is her complete obedience to and trust in the Lord.

God Bless You!

You're on the right track, the rosary is very good for that and many other things.

Praying the Divine Mercy will also help a great deal, it gives me strength, it helps a lot and you can use your rosary beads for this one as well.

I'll also pray for you and may God give you the strength, courage and will to endure your trials.

May God bless you and be with you in these difficult times.

Melomego- prayer should be something that comes from the heart, and does not have to be necessarily something that is preset. God hears and sees you no matter what, so even if you pray the simplest prayer, or even if you say "God help me" he will hear you no matter what. Pray what is in your heart, ask God to give you strength, and bring the baby home safely and he WILL hear you no matter what. I"m here for if you would like to talk, and I will be praying for you to have strength, and that your baby returns home safely.

I am not a Catholic, but I pray directly to the Father, in the Name of Jesus. I will pray for the safe return of her baby.

I am not a Mom, but I am the only parent and I am Catholic.

The Rosary, meditate on the life of Christ - try to imagine what Mary went through, knowing - from the first - what would be required of her son. Use that. It works.

I am sorry that you lost your kitten. I do not know what to say, except one saint would "rail heaven" with her prayers, because sometimes, that is all a person has.

Maybe this will be useful.
Actually, this might be better, that page looks a bit complicated

For myself, I have always used the Pieta Prayer Book, although I don't think there's one there for that. You could try, though.

I am not a catholic but I have a Bible text that is a promise you can pray back to God.
..."I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children." Isaiah 49:25
I will pray this promise for her also. We also need to pray that God's will be done in the way and timing of His answer.
God bless you for caring.

I was very sad once too. And the ones that helped me the most were Psalms and Proverbs.
