OK, SO HERE'S THE PROBLEM. I REALLY THINK MY BOYFRIEND IS INSECURE, AND HAS A REALLY HUGE GUARD UP OVER HIS HEART. OK, WE ARE CRAZY IN LOVE WITH EACH OTHER.I REALLY WANT US TO GET MARRIED SOMETIME IN THE NEAR FUTURE, HOWEVER HE ISN'T SO ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT THAT IDEAL. HE'S SCARED OF DIVORCE AND THAT IF WE EVER DID GET DIVORCED WHAT HE'S WORKED SO HARD FOR WILL BE GONE. BUT I'M NOT LIKE THAT, AND IF I'M GONNA GET MARRIED IT'S GONNA BE FOREVER. BUT HE'S EXPLAINED TO ME, HOW HE'S BEEN HURT IN THE PAST AND DONE DIRTY.SO I REALLY SEE WHY HE'S THE WAY HE IS, BUT I WISH HE WOULD JUST FULLY TRUST ME AND SEE I'M DIFFERENT FROM ALL THE OTHERS. AND I KNOW HE LOVES ME FOR A FACT, AND HE KNOWS I LOVE HIM.BUT HE ALSO STILL ASKS, WHY I LOVE HIM SO MUCH, AND I LIKE MADE A LIST ABOUT A MONTH AGO OF JUST SOME OF THE REASONS WHY I LOVE HIM, SO I'M JUST LIKE GAH! WHAT ELSE IS THERE TO DO TO PROVE IT? YA'LL, I WANNA MARRY HIM SO BAD. I WISH HE WOULD AT LEAST GET ME A PROMISE RING FOR NOW. I NEED ADVICE!!!!

CALM DOWN ANXIOUS! u are giving him some scary vibes. hes already gun-shy. he just told u so listen to him! give him more time with no pressure, even be a little more distant make him chase u a little. u are freaking him out so STOP IT! let the man see u are worth settleing down for and he doest want to lose u. Be Nice. But stop asking him for a ring every time he sees u. are u sure u are mature enough to handle a long term relationship?

OK, I'm not sure of your age, but just your message sounds very young to me - not to mention a little desperate. Marriage is a very serious commitment and should not be rushed by either party involved. Respect his reservations. If/when he's ready I'm sure he'll let you know.
Give him a little space.
