I support the right for a woman to make that decision.

I support the choice to have an abortion. Abortion is not a good thing, but it's better than some of the other options women are sometimes forced to face. I do not consider it murder (because I do not consider a fetus a baby until it can survive outside the womb)
Honestly, if you see it as murder, I don't get why you would be OK with anyone having one, including rape victims. It's either murder or its not. Why is it only murder for some people?

that is a difficult question. But i personally believe that a females right to freedom is more important than an unborn fetuses murder.
i heard a speech once, about how it all really comes down to which you value more, and by choosing one over the over you are selecting whether the lifeform being aborted is an "unborn child" or a "fetus".
Really, it is about when you think life begins, at birth or at conception, and if you think each human life is worth the same.
the man who wrote FREAKONOMICS said that to answer this properly, one must first assume one is more important than the other, and then assign a rate.
such as 1 child [life starts at birth] = 1000 fetuses [life starts at conception.]
yeah.
i also adore how you said you could understand it if a WOMAN was raped by a man, but not if a TEENAGER wanted to have sex.
listen, teenagers are raped and women have unprotected sex.
theres no real difference in judgement.

The brain of a FLY has 100,000 cells. A five day old embryo has about 50-100 cells.
And women have spontaneous abortions (i.e., naturally occuring) happen all the time.
Abortion is not murder. I don't necessarily SUPPORT it - no one does, of course, but I do support women having the right to abort or not - woman's choice.
And, technically speaking here, a(n) embryo/fetus is literally a parasite to the mother's body.
You see it that this unborn child has a right that OVERRIDES the mother who is already alive and, unlike it, has a nervous system and a brain.

I believe it depends on the cirucmstances. I don't support abortion based on gender, but as a result of rape/incest or if the mother has some medical condition that can negatively impact on the child.
Ofcourse prevention is much prefered - which makes it doubly more important to teach teens that unprotected sex = babies & STDS.

Nobody supports abortion, since it is a procedure and not an entity. We support the right to choose about whether or not to have this procedure. Your feeling is based on arbitrarily (or worse, religiously) deciding when life begins, contrary to evidence.
So a child of rape could not be adopted? The value of the child's life is dependent on the manner of conception? Interesting...

I am pro abortion. For each fetus "saved" by the pro life movement, 12 loved and wanted children die.

You mean you don't WANT to think it is murder. But murder is defined as the deliberate and premeditated killing of a human being. So there is no way around it. The preborn child is obviously a human being. What other kind of being can result from the union of two human parents? And he/she is obviously alive, organs functioning, heart beating, blood flowing, carrying on respiration and growth. So there is no room for discussion on those matters. The only difference between abortion and other forms of murder for hire is the age of the victim.

well you have the right to THINK abortion is murder, but that doesn't make it fact. abortion, by definition and legality is not murder. i support a woman's right to choose abortion, as well as a woman's right to choose adoption and motherhood.

Whatever.
How could anyone SUPPORT abortion? I support the right to choose and I support minding my own business concerning other people's private affairs. It's difficult enough enduring an unwanted pregnancy without having idiot strangers butting in where they weren't invited.
