proactive? meaning that all living things strive to consume things and increase their mass? always disatisfied, always reaching out for that which they don't already posess? all things are incomplete without other things. all that is, is interconnected. wouldn't evolution shoot itself in the foot by evolving its way around that tricky little problem?

Romans 8:5 - For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
