Im getting counter tops this weekend- any suggestions?

Your kitchen sounds beautiful. One component that you didn't mention is your appliances. When I help my kitchen design clients pull a look together, I always factor in the appliance color, as well as cabinets and countertops. Paint is less of a factor, because it's inexpensive to change, as opposed to replacing any of the other items mentioned here. Other considerations include how much light your kitchen receives. A large, bright space can handle more contrast and darker tops better than a small, dark one can. A few thoughts for you...
If your appliances are paneled to match your cabinets, black or stainless: I'd recommend black quartz or granite for a dramatic look.
If your appliances are white or bisque (beige): I'd recommend a white quartz, Corian or granite with flecks of tan.

No dark colors because the red is deep enough. Light tan, gray, or off white. Make sure when you invest get the best, which is either the corian or marble. These are also neutral colors if you ever decide to sell, and will last forever.

Get an off white or light gray background, with small
black/charcoal gray/coffee brown/copper flecks in it.
this will reflect all the colors, keep the kitchen light/bright,
and go with any appliances/wall colors you ever want to change.

The brown basic butcher block style. You may decide to paint walls a different color some day.

I would say go with a really dark color. Maybe black or even a dark wood color.

Sounds really awful, so go like , purple and really finish it off.!
Sorry, but really you should have planned this when you first chose the other colors.!I really cant imagine what would look right.
