im getting glass but i dont get them for two weeks and my eyes hurt when i read and i have school so what can i do to make them stop hurting oh yeh i can't meds in school w/o a docs note os please help

Can you go to an Eye Doctor that gets ur prescription ready the same day? I am certain a payment plan could be worked out. In the meantime, sit in the front of the room @ school, and place a cool washcloth on ur eyes as able. A migraine pill may help with the pain of the strain. I'm assuming you need reading glasses, and that you are far-sighted. If that's correct, you can get reading glasses for 2 weeks at the 99 cent store, or most dollar stores. Check the strength you need by having something small to read. Sometimes they have a chart right there. You can get the exact same glasses at any drug store for $12-25.

If you can afford it, take the prescription to Lenscrafters. They make them in an hour, but it costs more. I'd go with the 99 cent store! Good luck, kiddo!!
