Dreams are a way for the subconscious mind to sort out events from the day and also a way for our minds to process stress. If you are having a lot of disturbing dreams, try keeping a dream journal. As soon as you wake up, write down what you can remember about your dreams. You don't have to remember it exactly as it happened, just write down as much as you can remember. You also want to write down how the dream made you feel. Anxious? Happy? Sad? Frustrated?
If you begin to see a pattern of the same dreams, your mind might be trying to work out a specific problem. You can pick up a dream interpretation book relatively cheap that might help you decipher things.
Be carefull to not take it too seriously though...sometimes an elephant is just an elephant :)

many people think that dreams are premonitions, predicting something about the future. But, sometimes it is just your subconscious thinking. If you are having a hard time remembering your dream, try saying "I will remember my dream" a couple of times when you are laying in bed. This had worked out well for me in the past. Also, have a pen and paper by your bedside so that you can write down your dream after you wake up. If you wait too long then chances are you won't remember it later.
Hopefully by remembering your recurring dream you can analyze it. Think about what is going in on in your life now and what happened in the past, maybe this will give you the answers to your dream. Hope this helps.

Some may mean something, most mean nothing. Dreams that mean something are due to your concentration or involvement with something or someone.
You may be having a lot because of what you are eating or what is happening in your life right now -stress good or bad.
When a dream means something, you won't forget it.
My own opinion.
I have only one dream that I have never forgotten from long, long ago and I still don't know why or what. The dream was of a face. An ordinary looking guy, only his face looking at me with a nondescript expression. My guardian angel???

People say a million different things about dreams and their meanings. I think it's fun to try to decifer their meaning by what is happening in your life at the moment. I do believe that sometimes, not everytime, your mind is trying to tell you something, (how to fix a problem, or if you're too preoccupied on a certain thing.) I have used this website for a while and I think it's pretty cool. Entertaining at least.

Dreams work out our conscious problems in our sleep. They comfort us, they point out our fears, our needs, our weaknesses, our faults, our desires; things we don't see in consciousness, they reflect our day, what we've witnessed, so many things. And they are just plain bizarre sometimes perhaps meaning nothing and just reflected of a bad restless night or something we ate that is making us feel poorly. You can't read too much into them.
