If you are asking about the laws that were given to the Jews those are in Leviticus. They deal with the governing of a new nation. The rules of conduct and worship. Remember that these laws are for a people freed from a life of slavery with no knowledge of right and wrong. The laws are mundane and even contain recipes for incense and plans to decorate the tabernacle. If you are looking for rules for a modern day American, look at Matthew 5-6 for a good start. Hope this helps. Ps. You only go to hell if you don't ask Jesus into your heart and be the boss of your life. No one can keep all the commandments.

Jesus gave two commands to His followers that sum up the old law- "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and might, and the second is like it- love your neighbor as yourself." That pretty much sums up all the Old testament laws. There are other commands Jesus gave, such as to go into all the world and preach the gospel, make disciples and baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He also told His followers to 'abide in Me, and my word abide in You', meaning, act like me, and study my Word and know what it really says. The word should be in our hearts, not just in our mind. If the word is in our hearts, most of the commands are pretty easy to follow.
Now the question is- does that mean we will always do them? No. We will still mess up. But going to hell is not contingent upon obeying the commands. The only command we are given that will send us to hell if we don't do it, is not believing that Jesus is the Son of God, and confessing Him as Lord. Jesus is our ticket to heaven. If you don't take the ticket when it's handed out, you're not gettin' on the train.

There are 613 commandments for the Jews in the Torah or the 5 books of Moses.( Gen to Deut) For Christians we follow all the laws except the ceremonial and dietary laws. The ceremonial laws ( animal sacrifice in the temple) were done away with by Jesus' death on the cross. (he is our passover lamb) the dietary laws were done away with for gentiles in the book of Acts chapter 15 . No where in the Bible does it say that Jesus did away with the law. He fulfilled the law and he said.. If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Since Jesus is God , he wrote the 10 commandments.

Whether you realize it or not, the entire Bible is a book with commands from God, from Genesis to Revelation. The Ten Commandments is not the only commands that God gives us in the Bible. This is the purpose of reading the Word of God continually; so that we may know what He expects of us, and what He does not expect. Obeying the Ten Commandments is not what keeps us from going to Hell, but it is refusing to accept Jesus Christ as our personal Savior, and allowing Him to be Lord of our life. And God does not expect us to obey his Holy Word perfectly, and never make any mistakes. If He did so, every one of us would be headed for Hell. For none of us live a perfect life; including myself. All that God expects us to do, is to open our heart to the Lord Jesus, ask Him to come into our heart by faith, and then allow Him to lead us each day of our life thereafter. If you have never done so, I suggest that you do so before you go to bed tonight.

There were 10 commandments given to Moses to lead them out in EXODUS. The rest of the things we are not supposed to do are sprinkled throughout the books of the bible- a good way to read about them is to get a book or proverbs and psalms

If you know you break a commandment of God's, ask repentence for it and you are good! Most are talked about in Matthew.

You most surely will not go to hell if you accept Jesus Christ as your lord and savior in faith. Obeying the commandments
will not keep you out of hell "You need faith also".
God loves you....God bless

We could not possibly live up to the things we are told not to do in the Old Testament. So Jesus came to cover our sins (new testament)...at least that's the way I learned it.
