I sometimes paste the screen shot into windows paint, then I would cut the actual pic, delete the rest of the pic then paste and save,
go to the file that has the pic and right click on it and select edit, you then can select crop to tighten up the pic

just click the Print Screen button when you're on the screen you want printed, then go to paint, and paste.. There you go.
