im mexican and when i tell people i am their like "ewww.no your not!" and i say i am and there like "no your italian". i dont understand i know/have seen so many GORGEOUS mexicans when i went to mexico.one of my cousins is so stunning one of the most beautiful person i have ever saw.and it just gets me sooo mad when people think were ugly and that all mexicans have to be mad tan and my grandma was a blond with green eyes and shes 100% and look at dulce maria shes not that tan and look at miss mexico shes soo beautifull !!!

Betty, I think I asked a similiar question to this weeks ago but I don't remember. Anyways, I have the same problem too. Most boys at my school don't believe I'm Mexican because I look ''white''. My parents look white too but they are Mexican. Anyways, the media stereotypes too much. Like everyone thinks that hispanic women are fat and short. HELL NO! My mom is very thin and tall and ''white'' apperance. We, mexicans got to stick together. We are gorgeous because we come in different colors and shape. Look at Alexis Bledel or Sara Paxton. People are stupid. Mexicans can have blue eyes and blonde hair but you will harldy see them in the U.S. Go to Mexico and you will see a ton.

I have three Mexican coworkers two guys and one lady. God!! these people are so ugly, they are short, cubical head, no neck, fat belly, barrelled chest and both men and women wide hips and in the canteen they eat like they did not have not any food for ages.... I live in Norway and these 3 Mexicans are the only ones I have ever seen, so my observation is, it should be genetic and some cultural habits... They have given a terrible impression of Mexicans to us.

I agree with you. I am from Guadalajara, Mexico, and when I used to live in the US, people never thought I am Mexican because of my appearance (I look more Chilean or some said Middle Eastern). I am slender, dress trendy, wavy dark brown hair, big eyes,thick eyebrows, olive skin, longish face and angular features and look more Euro than indigenous. For many women, I was their first handsome Mexican they met because they had the image of Mexicans as stocky, round faces, Asian-like eyes, short and look Indigenous in appearance. For many foreign women I met (American, Japanese, Italian, Spaniards primarily) I was their first good looking Mexican man they met that is not celebrity or model-like (an 8/10 in physical appearance I will say).
But they fail to see that most of the Mexicans that go to USA come from the most Indigenous states (Oaxaca, Puebla, Chiapas, Guerrero, etc). People in Guadalajara and Bajio region (Guanajuato, Michoacan, Aguascalientes, Queretaro) we look more European on average with olive skin colour on average as well and a good number look full Caucasian.

Mexicans are not ugly my girlfriend is half mexican and half french and is the most beautiful girl I've ever seen she has hazel eyes silky black hair and dark olive skin and I'm a irish ginger kid with a thing for latinas.

There are over 100,000,000 Mexicans with a wide gene-pool of pure Indian, Mestizo (mixed Indian and Euro), Creole (mostly European blood), some African, and others from all over the world.
For anyone to lump so many people together as if they were the same is loco -- muy estupido.

I get that all the time. My obvious "white" looks (light brown hair, green eyes) throw people off. My whole family is light skinned.
I'm not ugly so therefore I'm not Mexican? Hahahaha
