The volunteers in my home town get their water bill paid each month by the county, thats about all we can afford to do but they save a lot of property and I thank each and everyone of them for their sacrifice and dedication.

that means whenever there is a fire u have 2 go 2 the rescue but at the end u r doing this out of the goodness of your heart cause U don't get paid anything.

you get what is called 'stipend' pay ( I do not remember if I spelled that correctly though). It is to offset the expense for gas, but no you do not actually get paid.
