First off, don't try to lay down during the day...your mind can make you so tired, and panic attacks can truly wear you down also...you might be a tad anemic..but, I would think your heart would be fast if that were the case..maybe your thyroid is slow...you can have that checked out instead, it might be a vitamin deficiancy, get some B vitamins perhaps...that might help...God Bless and ask Jesus to give you help and strength and the answers you want.

Talk to your family doctor about doing some bloodwork to make sure everything is operating like it should. Are you on any medications for the anxiety? Taking medication (or not taking it) can influence the way our body reacts to stimuli. My guess is that you're not sleeping because you're stressed out over this, which means you get less sleep which makes the symptoms worse. It's a vicious cycle, and you have to find something to break the chain.

You might want to try listening to a relaxation or hypnosis CD when you're in bed at night. Find something that works to help you unwind in the evening - give yourself plenty of chill time. Don't watch TV in bed, don't take naps during the day (or if you do, no more than 30 mins), and keep a consistent sleep/wake schedule. (These are all things my Sleep Dr had me do.) I find that reading in bed, no matter how interesting the book, makes me sleepy in minutes. Maybe you can find something that does the same thing for you.

If your family doctor doesn't find anything to be concerned with in the bloodwork, the insomnia and tiredness could be a symptom of a sleep disorder. If this is the case, you should make an appointment with a Sleep Dr for an evaluation.

I'm assuming that you've had your blood tested...sounds like you're anemic. Please go to the regular health section category...there might be nurses over there who can tell you more. That part about your arm..you need to find out why. You might have a chemical imbalance in your brain that effects your body. You need to change drs. if this one isn't finding anything. It must be something...or you wouldn't feel this way. If your mind is exhausted...then you probably need medication for that. Please go to Health category and see what you can find out from them. Maybe there's some food you're allergic to...or maybe something in the house you're breathing and causing this...mold, lead in paint, clorox...etc etc...Good Luck

Can you get your thyroid checked? I had PPT after my dd was born. I was really tired, but what got my attention was heart palps!

BTW, there are lots of meds out there to help w/anxiety. There's no shame in taking them. Please see your doc and they will do appropriate testing for you. I took something for several months and it really did help me sleep better, my mind quit racing so much.
