My supermarket is offering 'Canadian Waterfall Salmon- Freshly caught by brown bears.'

Maybe they mean the kind of Salmon that Brown Bears catch, not the specific ones that Brown Bears have already caught.

Saw this on an Attenborough documentry.

I think what generally happens is that they wait till the bear has eaten the fish and is settling down for a nap - then they shoot it in the head, slit open it's belly and retrieve the salmon.

Pffff...those Canadians, eh?

i wouldnt want to eat a smelly fish after a bear has mauled it. may be its just the same kind of salmon that the bears catch and eat
