I have a friend who's much older than me, I know I love him and recently I've figured out I'm ready for physical intamacy with him...however, I have a bf who's the same age as me...with whom I find that I don't trust nearly as much as my older friend...nor am I even close to desiring physical intamacy with him. I feel like I can talk to my friend more as a best friend and lover than my actual boyfriend...Me and my friend have known each other since I was in my Soph year...while I have know my bf since I was a Fresh. However, I became closer to my friend right before the summer between soph and junior year. All last year my junior year, whenever I'd get to hang with my friend...I would be on the moon for a while and everyone would assume it was my current bf...then he was one of my best friends...that made me in such an awesome mood. Basically I've had feelings for my friend far longer than I've had them for my bf...I had just hoped I would be able to shrug them off. What do you think?

Does your best friend feel the same way towards you? How does your current boyfriend feel towards you? If your BF is not really all that much in love with you, you might could try distancing yourself and eventually breaking up so that you can go out with your 'best friend'. However, if your current BF is in love with you, and you break up, you'd better hope your best friend is too because otherwise you will have made a mistake. This is a delicate situation to be in.

Dear asker:
i think that you are in a middle of something
you are spreading your feelings to both men
there are two points:
- new relations are starting strong as you both are excited to explore each other and that is an excitation point.
- you are gaining more Expierence which makes you exploring life in a different point of view not like as before.
when you are 16 is different than you are 19
and every year passes by you gain more expierence
one Advice:
you can stop seeing both for a while, think deeply what are you searching for, try to get what do you need.
it will leeds you at the end to: LOVE & Respect
the LOVE and Respect that you never find both direction
you must choose your Mr. Right man regardless you see thousand men. you would say my man is better.
GOOD LUCK IN YOUR LIFE
Rain ;)))

The best thing you should do is deal with the fact you are his boyfriend. There are going to be people around you that you may be interested in, but it was your decision to go out with your boyfriend.
Another option is, see if the person you love is interested in you, then you can break up with your boyfriend. You can just tell your boy that this relationship isn't going no where. Chances could be slim, but there's a possibility that he might like someone as well. Just give it a shot.

girl to me honestly you really do have a thing for your best friend i mean question does your best friend know that you like him this much? i think that you need to sit your boyfriend down and let him know what is going on with you and your feelings toward your best friend you should not string him along it will only make matters worst than they are so you need to get the stepping on it don't wait any longer......good luck to you

It shouldnt be so complicated where you need to type that much...some relationships just dont work out. Its ok. Go with your gut and go with who makes you happy...I hope the friend isnt that much older tho...Because then you might just be idolizing him bc he seems more mature...You'll make the right choice

DON't have sex with them unless you are married. You are SO worth more than sex. Learn to love yourself and the choices you make will be wise.

i think you need to listen to your feelings and stop being unfair to your bf, break up with him before you do something that you might regret or really hurt him
