I am a wannabe poet... do you think my poem has merit?

Mary had a little lamb,
Whose fleece was black as soot.
And in Mary's bread and jam,
His sooty foot he put.

Mary had some bread and jam,
In which the lamb put his foot.
Mary grabbed the little lamb,
and kicked his little boo-et.

Why was he sooty? Was she trying to roast him alive?

I mean, other than that, yeah, nice poem.

I like this one, too:

Violets are blue.
I'm schizophrenic.
And so am I.
