Friend.
Why? Because it's yummy on buttered toast!
It's also good on egg rolls, when there's no plum sauce around.

I LOVE marmalade ... all marmalade (orange, lemon, and lime). I especially like the English made marmalades or the Irish made with Irish whiskey.
I don't like 'sugary' stuff that much, and marmalade is 'sweet' but has a 'tartness' that the other fruit jams don't have ... and there is nothing better than a peanut butter and Irish marmalade sandwich for lunch, with a glass of unsweetened iced tea! YUM!

Strange question but since it's my favorite spread for a toasted english muffin, I'd have to say " friend". You have to like the strength of taste from the rind. Smuckers is the best I've tried.

friend to the tongue, foe to the waistline. It is deeeelicious, but it's concentrated sugar at some its most deadly if you are not interested in gaining weight. Sugar consumption is what puts the pounds on, not fat consumption.

But damn. good stuff

I like it on an English Muffin, but I used it instead of apricot preserves in BBQ'd beef sauce, and that was nasty.
