Yeah. I once loved a guy for his personality for over four years. He was pretty sad in the sack as well, but still, I loved him. Sometimes I still think about him. He turned out to be extremely successful and married a plastic surgeon. The last time I saw him I was in the hospital and he was there visiting his mother. He seemed very happy to see me and his wife who was there seemed very annoyed at that.

For me, the looks is the first thing I think about a guy. But the personality usually always wins over the looks he has. If he has a great personality, the looks wouldn't be too much of a problem because ill get over with it later on.

Absolutely. When I was 16, I went to visit a girlfriend and while there met one of her friends named Bill. Now Bill had red hair, freckles, was snow white, wore glasses and was extremely skinny. But...he was so darn funny - great personality. One night he and I went to a drivein and we kissed and wow, what a great kisser he was. I fell for him big time. It is now years later and I always wonder what happened to Bill and would love to see him again. He lived far from me and went on to college and that is why we didn't keep up but a few years after I got married, I heard that Bill was looking for me and was very sad when he heard that I was married. If I had thought there was a good chance for us, I would probably not have gotten married but I do love my husband. Always wonder though, what if. He was definitely one of my first loves - big time.

Yes, but to be completely honest, I had to get to know him first. We became friends, and later started dating. No girl looks at the aesthetically challenged guy accross the room and says to herself, "Wow, I'll be he has a nice personality", but when you get to know someone, looks become so unimportant. What becomes important is your compatibility and how you treat each other.

My fiance is really cute, but he has a really big head. My friend often joke that we had better not have children or I'll need a c-section, but it's fine. I love him and his big head.

Yes! A nasty attitude will make a beautiful person ugly. A not so beautiful person with a great personality will make them attractive. There is nothing wrong with loving someone who isnt very good-looking.

i have dated someone for their personality. and don't get me wrong personality is more important then looks. However once you think about who u will be sleeping next to for the rest of you life you want them to look decent? but all that matters is that you are happy
