I think I understand what you are asking.

Traditionally in Britain a 1 followed by 9 zeros is called 'One thousand million', since a billion is 1 followed by 12 zeros. Literally 'bi'-'million'. A trillion is also different...

USA
1,000,000 - million
1,000,000,000 - billion
1,000,000,000,000 - trillion

Britain
1,000,000 - million
1,000,000,000 - thousand million
1,000,000,000,000 - billion
1,000,000,000,000,000 - thousand billion
1,000,000,000,000,000,000 - trillion

Despite the difference, when talking money us Brits will use the USA nomenclature.
