if three men I didn't know approached me i would run, carrying bibles or not.

Less safe...
.... Because by the time my instincts had powered down, the three men would be laid out on the floor, unconscious and bleeding.... and I'd worry that the moment someone else noticed, the police would be involved.
One person with a bible I can tolerate. Two people with bibles would involve verbal abuse on my part. Three people with bibles would result in me going Bruce Lee on their sorry arses.

If you are suggesting that these three men were like the angels in the bible then they would know that the bible is of no importance to humans today.

Very much less safe. Three men with bibles in their hands are ready for hate crime. Christians hate a lot and are extremely unpredictable, so if they see the least of something with you they don't like, you are dead in an instant.

Depends on the context; if I was alone in a private place, I'd feel unsafe if they had Bibles or not! It's not a Bible that makes a person "safe"; it's their faith in God. If I saw three men in public with their Bibles, I would be proud of them for bodly showing that they put their trust in the Word of God!

I'm with Ms. Lady on this one - the bibles don't matter: three unknown men approaching me together at one time might make me pretty nervy.

I don't know that I'd feel unsafe, but I definitely wouldn't feel safer because of it. I think I'd be a bit creeped out, to tell the truth.

Less safe... Inmates "find Jesus" and get released. Then they kill someone and get put back in. the only difference is that afterwords they claim they did it in the name of God.

I would feel very safe. I am from Louisiana, and we all carry guns.
