It's like 3 or 4 months. Get it spayed ASAP!!!! Do NOT let it breed because there are so many kitties already without homes.

Both sexes can become sexually mature at 4 months, so it's best to get them neutered/spayed by then. You wouldn't want a 4-month old kitten being pregnant as, the younger the cat, the more difficult the pregnancy and delivery.

On top of that, a kitten who is spayed before going into heat for the first time is 7 times less likely to develop cancer than a kitten who's spayed after the first heat.

You mean "At what age can a female cat get pregnant?"

The domestic cat reaches puberty by 6 to 9 months of age. The normal queen may go through puberty and experience her first heat as early as 5 months of age. It is theoretically possible to get pregnant at this time. Purebred cats are thought to reach puberty later than domestic or mixed-breed cats, but this is a subjective assessment; it is not well-documented. Free-roaming males and females may reach sexual maturity earlier than those kept constantly in the home.

Oh boy, you do prefer to ask the difficult ones do now not you? LOL incredibly a woman cat can come into estrus each time whilst they are 4 mos previous yet oftentimes around 6-8 months of age. i've got had cats who did now not come into warmth/estrus till they have been a three hundred and sixty 5 days previous and one as youthful as 4 months so there isn't any set age or time - it relies upon on the breed or their progression. in case you have brother and sister kittens, you incredibly prefer to get them neutered. least puzzling intercourse to neuter is the male and that's finished at 4 months of age. i comprehend that vets do spay/neuters on 8 week previous kittens yet individually I disapprove of this and think of that's too early to do it and too difficult on the kitten. seeing which you probable won't have any issues till they are around 4 months of age, you will desire to have time to establish an appt with an outstanding vet or a health facility and get one neutered in the previous issues arrive. only so which you comprehend, if a cat can come into warmth, they'd grow to be pregnant and oftentimes do if bred so the quicker the extra perfect with the neutering. Altho i'm specific you already know that a brother/sister mating isn't a fascinating concern, i will only say that it doubles up on any undesirable genes whilst this happens and will improve the probability that the kittens won't stay to tell the tale or would have some form of issues. maximum respected breeders won't breed brother to sister for any reason - only too heavily appropriate!! good good fortune and kudoes for asking questions and making plans on getting your kittens neutered!

cats can come on call as young at 5 months old..
you will know when your cat is old enough to mate .. she will make one hell of a noise.. calling out to the toms .. she will be very affectionate .. will lift her bottom up when stroked.. roll around on the floor and some female cats will spray..

kittens as young as 5 months old although they can get preganant are not mature enough to actually carry the kittens to full term.. there is a very high perecentage of miscarriage and those kittens that do carry to term are likely to have stunted growth themselves .. remember a cat is not fully grown until 18 months old..

if you do not want your kitten to have kittens then please get her spayed.. if you want to have a litter it is better to wait until she is at least 12 months old before she mates with a tom.. ..

Just to add, our Vet told us years ago, that if you spay or nutter an animal before it gets into the reproductive mode, it will never get that to be part of its life, and will remain a kitten or puppy mentally for life. Just food for thought.

5-6 months, as soon as she goes into heat. It's not safe for them to breed before 2 years of age. Try to spay her before she goes into heat for the first time, it will improve her personality and prevent unwanted kittens.

My parents work in animal rescue and we've seen it happen as early as 4 months. Get your cat spayed at about 6 months to avoid stunting her growth. Keep her away from male cats that aren't neutered (duh) until then.
