i have a 98 Dodge Grand Caravan and this is the second time this has happened. I have been driving and i have come to a stop. After i completed my stop, i went to excellerate again and the car shut off. This is the second time this has happened and the last time i was at an intersection and it stopped in the middle of the intersection and i lost all power... break lights and everything. ( i cant stear it when it turns off either) What is wrong??

Sounds like you could have a loose / dirty battery connection. Remove the battery cables from the battery and clean them till they are bright with a battery brush (available at auto parts store) After cleaning try to start and see if problem solved. Also check the cable going to the relay and to the starter, they could be loose. Also check the ground (negative) cable for good connection.

to me not seeing the car, I would check the main cables + and negitive power. you definately have a poor connection of some sort. start the car and try jerking on the positive and negitive wires to the battery.also make sure the wires at the starter are tight
