I had earaches for years and I know how much they hurt. My grandma couldn't take it no more and told me to pour in just few drops of breast milk (like 4 or 5 drops). Well you might think its weird or I'm the weird one, or thinks its gross, but I my self has tried it already and it worked for me. (if you decide to try this good luck finding a lactin mom)

P.S. breast milk is natural and won't do you any harm if you try this and doesn't work for you. and if it doesn't work you probably have an infection and needs to go to the doctor.

Quit sticking stuff in your ears
Put your ear over a heating pad
Take some over the counter Ibuprophen.
Call the doctor and be seen ASAP. The pain will not get better until you quit aggrivating it.
You need to keep you ear as warm as possible until you can see a doctor.

What helped me is putting a heating pad on a pillow and laying my affected area on it. However if you have asevere ear ache, that means most likely it has an infection in there. The only thing that will get rid of that is antibiotics, and you need a doctor for that. So make an appointment, as soon as you can.

You may have an infection that requires antibiotics. I wouldn't advise putting anything in your ear because it could be sore because there is some sort of debris in there like ear wax or a bug that crawled in while you were sleeping. Eeew. I know, but it happens sometimes. Putting something in there could push it in farther. Or irritate an infected ear. See if there is a walk in or non urgent clinic near by that you can get a doctor or nurse practitioner to look in your ear.

First of all you can put a piece of cotton ball into the ear, but not to far. Just enough to keep air out of it. Call doctor to make an appointment.

My grandmother used to put perfume on a piece of cotton and put it in our ear. Really works! Hope you feel better
