You can find the answer in the same book - chapter 2:3-7, as well as in chapter 3:4 and verse 9 & 10 ...
From this you can see what true evil is and the sourse of it ... in fact - if you want to see the conclusion of the true evil ...
check out Isaiah 24:1-6 and Deuteronomy chapter 28 ... the whole thing which is a prophesy for these end of days ... the Last Days ... and you may be amazed of the scripture I gave to you and the way they all correlate ... now when you read the scriptures if you read what I gave you ... you will see the whole book in a different light ...

Greed and corruption. The bible is 1000 to 2000 years old. Is it still reliable? I don't think so. It's "source", not "sourse". What's your point of having double question marks? Do you speak Spanish?
No such thing as true evil according to Taoism: That's why there's the Yin/Yang sign, meaning there's a dual nature to everything: nothing is purely evil or purely good.
Quick, have someone else buy you an Evil Eye. You cannot buy the Evil Eye by yourself. If someone bought you an Evil Eye, it will help you ward off evil [supposedly].

Many would say the devil or satan or some source ouside of themselves. But I would contend that evil is what one person projects and does to another. It was not devils that killed 6 million jews, it was not devils but Christians that enslaved blacks for thier personal proffit here in our American country. I was not devils that killed prodestants or catholics in thie bloody war. It was not devils that killed 3 thousand when the towers were attacked and it was not devils who are waring in the middle east. I believe that this concept of demons and devils is made by people so that people do not have to take personal responcibility in how they treat each other and this has been going on for centuries. So in saying it is the toughts of man and what they want without the thoughts for others that is the source of evil.

This question is very hard to answer; the source material you asked for does not really cover the topic you want! If you want to know the source of true evil, you have to go back to a time prior to the Creation of the Earth, for evil existed then, and we have no humans recorded who know anything about that time.
It is apparant that Evil existed before the Creation of the Earth, for the one thing in the Garden of Eden that was FORBIDDEN as food for Adam and Eve was the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil (TKGE for short). Obviously something happenned in the Pre-Earth Creation for evil to manifest itself and become known to the assembled Elohim. That doesn't make Evil a "thing" to have a source, however. Evil may simply be an absence of good, like we describe a vaccuum as an absence of anything, and darkness as an absence of light.
So, who turned out the lights, or created the first "vaccuum" of anti-goodness? According to Judeo-Christian theology, that credit goes to Lucifer, one of the highest angels(elohim) in the Pre-Earth Creation. This emptiness (iniquity, sin) was found first inside of it, then spread to more of its kind, and then passed on to humans.

Satan is the ruler of this world, Jesus said not to love this world or the things in it. Satan was a murderer and a liar and the father of it. John 8:44. Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. The devil in says in Isaiah tried to rule but kicked him out and now we have to deal with him. Doesn't the Apostle Peter say he walks about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. The devil rules the flesh, but Christ is Spirit and truth and the way, John 14:6. I am sticking with Jesus Christ.

There are two real sources of evil.
The first is the rulers and principalities of this world. That would be Satan and other fallen angels commonly known as demons.
The second is your own human heart. (See Mark 7:21-22)

Does "TRUE evil" mean evil has evolved to have differing levels of evildom - reminds me of the term "VERY qualified" as used in a car ad?
