How adorable! She (he?) is very photogenic. I have a gorgeous long haired ginger male I wanted to enter in a cat show. I researched and found that these kitties have to be in a cage for long time periods (plus add on travel time to the show), be around alot of cats and strangers and then picked over by judges they don't know. I figure it's just more stress than I wanted to put him through. Since she's so photogenic, why not enter her in picture contests? I have won quite a few with my boy. Here he is: http://www.catster.com/cats/626928
Google pet photo contests to find some. Good luck with that adorable baby!

VERY pretty cat, but in the hhp (house hold pet) category they are also judged on personality so if kitty is scared or angry she won't do well. I would suggest bringing her with you on errands and taking her to pet smart and such places that allow animals , so she gets used to different sights and sounds. She would also have to be current on all her shots (bring proof to the show) and free of any illness or parasites. Cat shows can also get a bit pricey ranging from 45 to 60 $ per entry not to mention your cage curtains etc . If you haven't already I would go to one of the cat registry web sites to read up on all that will need to be done in order to enter your kitty in a show , CFA, and TICA are 2 of the biggest registries . Hope this helps and have fun = )

That is sure a cutie!
The biggest thing about being in a cat show is the cat has to remain calm, even though there is a lot of activity going on, lots of people, lots of other cats, and yours has to be docile enough to be handled by the judges easily, and not fight them or be disagreeable. I have very pretty cats too but they would never stand for all that! If Kitty freaks out, it can't win.

Cat shows are very stressful on the cat &
sometimes the owner to. You have a very
colorful cat. I mean no disrespect when I say
other people also have good looking cats.
Cat shows really aren't worth it for the
house cat. Shows are more about purebreeds
than regular housecats.
