I drink a few bottles of water after I'm done drinking and I also take some aspirin before bed and that usually stops the hangovers the next day. Sometimes, I may be tired but having a hangover from the night before is way worse.

Like all other answers I'm sure, dehydration. Drink plenty of water before bed- or if passed out for the night already, as soon as you wake up (that won't stop the hangover then but it will make it so it does not last all day long).

I'm just the same and that's why I don't drink too often! I have tried all the rememdies like drinking a pint of water before going to bed after drinking! Having a glass of milk and food before drinking, and none of it works!
Let's be honest, you may suffer the whole next day, but at the time it will be fun, lol!
Congratulations on the birth of your son, you get out there and let your hair down, you deserve it!
:o))

I personally do not suffer from hang overs. But here's a tip, mate:
Drink plenty of water before you go out, about 4 glasses. Then, drink another 4 right before you go to sleep. That way it will flush out all of the toxins form the liquor so that you won't feel sick in the morning.
Just be sure to stay well hydrated, this is why people get alcohol poisoning, they aren't hydrated. Have funny tonight, mate.

I've been drinking for years. Do what I do and it won't be that bad.
ONLY STICK TO ONE KIND OF DRINK THE WHOLE NIGHT
don't mix your drinks. shots count as a different drink by the way.
also, and this is key, drink a huge glass of water before you go to bed. the hangover comes from dehydration of the brain. a side effect of alcohol.
there is also a great product, they sell it at some drug stores called CHASER. it prevents hang overs. we passed them out at our wedding and no one had a hang over the next day. and we got married at a Winery.

Eat fatty foods before drinking. Drink a lot of water before going to sleep. Take some aspirin. Drink Gatorade the next day. That is about all you can do. Aside from becoming an official drunk cause we don't get hangovers.

I hope you're not breastfeeding the baby since you've started drinking! Anyways, if your hangovers are so bad, maybe you should stop drinking. My guess is that the alchohol is messing with your maternal hormones or you could be allergic to alcohol. You can still have a girls night out without the drinking part.

Drink less and you won't feel so bad the next day. I also recommend drinking a large amount of water and some Advil before bed to help fight the dehydration.

I've never had a hangover in my life and I've drunk myself stupid at times. The way I avoid it is to drink a pint of water just before you pass out on the bed then plenty of coffee in the morning will keep the hangover away although my mate swears by redbull before bed and in the morning.
