"James and the Giant Peach" was a cute story, nothing more. Is it far fetched? Of course it is, but then, it is a child's fantasy story, just like the "Curious George" and "Clifford, the Big Red Dog" books.

Jesus does not appear in any of the above books, by the way. I think you have the names confused.
