Let's state the facts 1. That's his brother regardless, so bailing him out is a must. 2. You married your husband. The past is the past, if he has gotton over it and trust you then....it is what it is THE PAST. Do you trust yourself, do you feel less of a woman or does it have a negative impact on who you are now??? If the answer is no, then it's fine to let him stay TEMPORARY. He is a grown *** man, and needs to provide for himself. You and your husband work for your "immediate" family (those under 18). I believe in helping, but not providing for those who can do for themselves.

I see it happen all the time, but not for all offenses.

If you are under the influence of a drug or alcohol, the jail policy may be to release you to a responsible party. So even if you posted the cash, someone would have to come get you.

Of course you can, if you have either enough cash on you to post bond yourself, or enough to pay the bondman whatever percentage they ask for. (Usually 10% to 15%)

To Sarah_dtv: Actually, the cops can and do take you to the ATM to get cash. I've seen it happen several times in situations of minor offenses. Depends on the cop, the charge, and the demeanor of the arrestee.

Yes, as long as you have a couple thou in cash on you. Of course, if you do, that'll raise some questions.

Good question.

I mean, how would you get the money? Don't they confiscate your wallet? Can you use your credit card? It's not like you can go to the bank to withdraw cash.

Hell, do you think the county coffers give a squat where that money comes from, for all they care it could be the money you made while selling crack, they don't give a crap about it. They got their bucks to buy more tazers to attack the populous with.
