It seems like some people answer every question with bible quotes. Bible this, bible that. How do they function in scenarios where the bible doesn't tell them what to do?

Remember that the Bible is a 2000 year old document written originally in another language, meant for use by a different community. There's a lot of ambiguity and room for interpretation.

I don't know about crossing the street per se, but we do know Jesus drove a Honda, since he and the Disciples were all in one Accord...

Bravo, Bravo, Bravo to emptywun who speaks the truth! I prefer being called a Bible thumper because I at least have the Word of God to believe and depend on. Our faith is based upon the Bible and we are not ashamed of Who we believe and why. It is He who gives us the directions for our lives so we won't get run over by the Christ hater maniacs.
Plus, I always have the hope of heaven. What do you have?

The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it. Proverbs 27:12

So it's not exactly "look both ways before crossing the street", but it gets the idea across.. Stupid people just walk out in front of the bus, but a prudent man sees the bus and takes refuge (on the curb)

The same way atheists cope with being in a place where there is no one to belittle. Honestly, is there a real point to this question? You come to the Religion & Spirituality section and are upset to see Bible quotes? Read the name of the section again...the answer you seek is already there.

The book of Roadapizzicus, 4:11. "When thouest crosseth the street, thou shall looketh both ways, say ten "Our fathers" and then look both ways again. If speeding chariot doth approach, get down on thy knees and thank the Lord for the miracle He hath performed in predicting that you should looketh both ways. Then sayeth ten more "Our Fathers", looketh both ways again, and repeateth until it is safe to cross the street."

Well, as a "Bible Thumper", I'll tell you how. The Bible tells us everything we need to know. If we can't find it, we pray and find out what God wants that way. Easy.

They cross the street in herds in New Orleans. Elsewhere there is probably a similar phenomenon.

I think it's called "migration"
