I did this before. I hate how comforters are so small! Yes, it will work. BUT, your fitted sheet won't fit properly, so you will want to buy some additional sheets.

I always get king size blankets and comforters to go on my queen size bed. It saves fighting over the blankets. I also get king size top sheets when I can.

i think its a great idea !!! sometimes the less expensive comforters are not as generously cut as i would like, so the larger size allows for a little more length on the sides.. good luck

Ya I did this too. The comforter fits just fine and the sheets will work okay too if you tuck them under the mattress and the box spring as well

sure! it'd be a bit big but if there are two people who sleep in the bed and are both cover hogs they'd be well covered!

i have a full sized beds but my sheets are queen. idk how i ended up with queen size sheets but they work just fine. i like bigger sheets & comforters anyway. so to answer you, yes haha
