How can I excite my daughter to want to brush her teeth. I want them to have good healthy teeth. I bought one of those character spin brushes that worked for 2 days or so. Does anyone have some tips or ideas that maybe you use to get your kids to brush there teeth. Thanks so much in advance

My daughter is 20 months old and I been brushing her teeth since she was 7 months. Right now she doesn't want me to brush her teeths so what I do is brush my teeths at the same time she does. Show her how u brush u teeths and she will do the same, just let her hold her own brush and u will see how works. Good Luck!!!

you can make a chart with her and get some stickers like stars or somthing make the days of the week each time she does it she gets to put her own sticker on the chart another thing is let her do it first try it use positive reinforcement when you do it like if she cries tell her its okay and start talking or sing set a time a night when its time for you to clean her teeth sit on the floor or couch where ever is easier for you have her head in your lap lift up her chip trust me this is easier on you and you will be able to see inside her mouth let her know that your checking to see if any of her dinner or snack or dessert is in there and that mommy needs to get in there and brush and floss that away so the sugar bugs dont come and make holes in our teeth if she creis its okay remember this is something she need to do she will open her moth and brush and floss glide came out that I love for the small kids with tight contact the one flosser its great remember to floss kids get cavities so fast but the chart works when she all done if she is a little upset its ok make it positive tell guess what were all done have her own spot for her thing she will put them ayway and say lets go put the stickers on your chart good girl and at the end of the week or when you want and feel reward her with like make cookies together or pick out a book something small tell her your so proud of her this does work rule of thumb parents are to help their children brush and floss at bedtime until their child can write their full and last name in cursuve then they have the cordination skill to do it on their own trust me I have seen bad cases working in pedo hope this helps

This sounds fairly difficult. you comprehend what? perchance his tooth are comfortable and that makes it so he won't brush...I purely went through some dental appointments (3 one million/2 hrs interior the chair on one flow to which secure the removing of an previous root canal, ouch) It took various weeks before the tooth next to it "settled down" positioned on the detective hat mom this little guy can not permit you comprehend what's happening whilst the comb touches his tooth... perchance he's not used to different "textures" in his mouth. perchance the bristles on the comb trouble him....you comprehend tickles too plenty? try changing the textures of the flaws you supply him to consume and watch him and spot if it would desire to be his tooth are "feeling" something that would desire to not be happening.... each and every now and then it fairly is conceivable to lose the tooth overlaying secure practices on the tooth making them great comfortable to not basically warm/chilly yet in addition not have the skill to tolerate the touch of a broom to the tooth... peculiarly do not assume something like your dentist did. purely via fact he's this youthful does not propose something could not be incorrect together with his tooth. superb regards, desire for the superb.
