Paganism is a cult they worship false gods like from xena the show that use to be on. Fantasy gods! Which is so sad. For paganism is evil and from satan. Where they believe it or not. Where they accept it or not. Its the truth. Read the bible. God say's its evil. Evil will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven. They don't like to be told they are wrong and what they are into is evil. Which is sad because they are living a lie. They just hate the truth and so they talk ugly back to anyone who trys to witness and share God's word with them. They just don't want to accept that what they are into is false.Thats why we need to keep praying for the lost souls. Jesus loves you!

This is why God is separating His sheep from the "goats". Those who are called to be children of the Light separting those who love the darkness because that their deeds are evil.. Little do they know but with each passing day while the children of Almighty God are becoming more and more in the image and likeness of Jesus Christ, in turn, The children of darkness are becoming more and more in likeness and image of their father, Satan. And a judgment period will come to them called the Great Tribulation period, where they will be "Marked" with a computer chip underneath the skin of their right hand in order to buy or sell anything. Those who receive it shall be judged and those who reject it, by law, shall be imprisoned. So, this is why world Judgment must come, because people loving wickedness and being possessed by demons not able to discern good from evil..and God in His unconditional love calls out to them but unless they have a wiling spirit, the devil will not leave them otherwise. Go to trumpetmin.org if you want to know more about this mark, which now is being placed in animals..Click, could this be the mark.. Blessings..

Saphira,

You know so little about the subject you are speaking about. Paganism has been around longer than Christianity. The gods of Paganism are older than the biblical gods. The myths of the bible were "borrowed" and adapted to fit in the Christian ideal. Pagans do not acknowledge the Christian god of Satan. Xena? OMFG! Everyone knows it was a tv show except you apparently!
Truth is subjective. What may be your truth is not true for everyone. Get over yourself already. The bible may be your holy book, but it is not for everyone.
Exactly how do you know for sure that what you believe is the absolute truth? Because a 2000 yr old history book written by men says so? Take the bible out of the equation for a moment. Now....how do you know you are right? You don't. You believe what you have been spoon-fed all your life. You believe because that has been what you've been told to believe. The difference between you and pagans is we think for ourselves.
The reason people talk ugly to you is because you will not listen. It is YOU who refuses to accept other's personal truths. You are so busy preaching from your pulpit that you can't see the forest for the trees. Christianity teaches tolerance. Where is your tolerance, Saphira?
We do not need your prayers. Just as I am sure you feel you do not need ours.
If you continue to use this forum as a pulpit, you risk your account being suspended. You are violating YA! terms of service rules. Re-read them and see for yourself.

It saddens me to see how people will simply post stuff loosely based on idealogical dogma that they themselves don't understand. They simply beleive it because someone in their childhood told them that certain people knew the truth and they should listen to them. Then when they were grown, they just listen to these sources with out question, without even analyzing what they say to see if it rings true, and without even checking their source to see if it's really in there.
By the way, THAT is the definition of CULT: " a group of people blindly following a religious leader without question." ( my paraphrase of the American Heritage Dictionary definition: A religion or religious sect generally considered to be extremist or false, with its followers often living in an unconventional manner under the guidance of an authoritarian, charismatic leader.)
However, the word "cult" is derivitive of the Latin "cultus" which simply means "to worship"; so in that sense, any religious group, including Christianity, would be defined as a CULT.

christianity was a cult in its first 200 years. does the difference between it and what you call a pagan religion lie in being the actual truth? no, or at least not necessarily. the difference is that more people bought into it once they started getting persecuted. before constantine, guess what? christians were being persecuted by pagans in much the same manner as im seeing in your little rant. if youre capable of faith in a supernatural being then thats fine, but dont try to hock it off as the absolute truth when you dont know any more then anyone else.

Christianity is also a cult. Look up the term in the dictionary. And we don't care what you think, our religion was here thousands of years before yours and it will be here after yours is forgotten, thats why we don't bother to spout about it.
And saying pagans see Xena as a god is insulting. Bet you wouldn't dare to insult Muslims like that. And I really don't care if Jesus loves me or not as long as my cat loves me. Get a life and leave other people alone.

Neo-Paganism is a classifcation of religion. notwithstanding, Neo-Pagans are quite passive, yet while i grew to become into one, that throughout no way stopped me from being aggressive, fairly concerning religion. i'm quite anti-christian, and have been for particularly a while. i grew to become right into a Wiccan for 5 years or so, and grew to become into particularly anti-christian for as least the latter a million/2 of that.

"Pagan" just means non-Christian and non-Jewish. The vast majority of people in the world are neither Chistian nor Jewish and are therefore pagan by definition.

A cult is just a particular form of religious worship. All religions are cults including all the many Christian religions. The word comes from the Latin "cultus" meaning "worship".

It is such a pity so many so-called Christians seem to lack basic education.

I don't "worship" anything. I honor my gods, which, may I point out, were around long before your god was. The truth is paganism has been around thousands of years longer than christianity, and your religion is every bit as much of a "fantasy" as paganism. Your precious "virgin birth" and "rising from the dead" were stolen from pagan gods' myths. If you dare to pray for me, I will be more than happy to do a spell for you. You know nothing about pagans and what we believe. You only perpetuate the christian stereotype of being ignorant, intolerant, and hateful. I'm sure your fellow christians are so proud to have you among them.

Ok, you may want to sit down for this one, sweetheart. Deny it all you want, chose not to believe it if that makes you feel better, but the truth is that at one point in time your ancestors were Pagan! (I'll wait for the shock to settle in.)

Christians invaded countries, killed people, raped women, and basically caused Hell for the people of those lands, all in an attempt to FORCE people to believe as they do. A thoroughly un-Christian thing to do, if you ask me. Another un-Christian thing to do, in my opinion, is to condemn other people for not living their lives according to your rules.

Live your life however you want and let others live theirs however they want. Oh....And go back to school. Apparently you slept through English class.

If we're a cult, then you are in a cult as well. The only difference between a religion and a cult is the number of members.

Hate to say this but Christianity is a cult also. All religions are cults. Just some cults get really big.
