I'm a witch, I don't believe in satan. I worship the Virgin Mother and King of heaven and The child of ligh(Jesus)t. The goddess and God. No satan, i believe that satan is some stupid scare tactic, and you guys fell for it. Okay forget me. I want to know how you guys know what God approves and does not approve of anything especially witchcraft? The bible doesnt count as proof, jesus didnt write it, God didnt write it, a scribe wrote it so he can convert and brainwash people into the religion it was constantly changed. So how does god know?

The fact that god said, Don't turn to anyone else turn to ME ME ME. That tells me that God is nothing but a spoiled 2 yr old brat who will make temper tanrums if you don't pay attention to him. Or your possevive girlfriend who doent want you to be with other girls.

I'm not trying to bash you,. i'm just very suspicious at your beliefs.

and please don't say I'm turning away from God. Because i'm not. I would also say that I do NOT worship satan.

I don't worship satan, he's not real. And even if he is what's he going to do to me, I'm not afraid of him and I'm much stronger than your silly devil.

Wheres' the proof. How do you know what god approves or does not approve. .I believe in God and Jesus. And I do not believe that a peacemonger like Jesus said anything like that, or tell you what to believe, trying to save you, fine. But say that this is not okay, is stupid.

I'm not bashing anyone I'm just very skeptical. any other witch wouldn't post something like this here. How do we know what heaven looks like.? That's all I want to know. I don't have to read the bible to find this out, they could be teaching your kids that in history class.

It seems to me that you people are taking the bible not only too seriously but too literally. You probably didnt interpret what this author of the bible is trying to say. Why cant God talk to us by nature, like trees, instinct in our dreams?

i just want to know

If you don't believe *anything* about The Bible, where does your information about Jesus and the Virgin Mother come from?

-History Books, Scholars and Archaeologists.

Also, what kind of witchcraft do you practice? Do your spells simply allow you to focus your energies specifically on a goal, with the help of your God and Goddess?

-Yes. Goddes and God.

Or do you practice physical magick, by evoking your God and Goddess to physically charge and alter energy and send them towards a particular person, place, or thing?

-witches are not allowed to do this. If I did this sort of thing I pay the price.

Because physical magick seems to be more about doing your will, and not God's.

It's called independance.

And Jesus himself taught us how to pray, and it didn't involve spell-casting ... so I wouldn't personally choose to do it.

-choose what you want to do

manddkeller:

You do not believe in the one true LIVING God nor His Son Jesus Christ.

-Yes I do. There are things in the bible that I do not agree with.

The god(s) that you worship are formed (shaped, carved, molded, constructed) in your own mind.

-The concept of Satan is all in your mind.

As long as you resist the truth in the Word of God aka The Holy Bible

-(Did God Tell us to read the bible?) There is a big difference between the word of god and the word of man. I listen to God, and he knows my intentions arent negative.

, you will be at war with every one and everything that you encounter in this life.

-If you are referring to other people you are right.

Your only hope is to repent and turn from your sinful nature and follow (obey, love, serve with joy) the living God. All else ends in your destruction

How is it sinful. I don't believe in Sin. I can do what I wish as long as noone gets hurt.

Obviously, you had to learn magick from somewhere ... what makes that source more reliable than The Bible?

Nobody said that magick is more reliable. But back then it was believe that cavemen did magic.

-Can you show me, or give me examples, of historical and archaeological data that led you to believe in the divinity of God, Jesus, and Mary? Because many secular scholars argue over whether or not Jesus actually existed as a person,

-If Jesus didnt really exist in the bible then there wouldnt be christians.

Also, I know that physical magick isn't smiled upon by witches in general, but it doesn't mean that no one does it ...

-You're right that's like saying that Christians are all Good and light. But i believe the Yin and Yang concept. without light and dark(not necessarily evil) there wouldnt be a balance

And if you want COMPLETE and total independence from the guidance or direction of God, why worship God at all?

-I worship god, but i don't bow down to him, and think he is the all powerful being who can control my life. I thank him for everything. I perform rites honoring him. i just don't need him telling me what to believe and how to think. That's like a Godly version of adolf hitler.

So don't be confused.

God wants you to use prayer not magic.

-Magick IS prayer.

Gods people are called christians, not witches.(God's people are one he created.)

Witches use withccraft, christians don't.

-Um, Duh? witches don't only use magic. They worship nature. they help the enviorment. Contribute to the community.

I know you like watching charmed

- oh come on, it's making fun of us.

I know you and your school buddies like to practice spells and potions.

-Those are the fake witches, also called fluffy bunnies.

but this is just popular culture designed to occupy our minds and keep us from the word of god

- Oh please.

The devil didn't alaways exist.

-He does not exist PERIOD.

God made things holy-
-He also made darkness(I don't mean SATAN.) Without Light and darkness intertwining. There wouldnt be a balance in nature, animals wouldnt have predators. There wouldnt be opposites.

-I told you already satan is just a scare tactic. That was proven 10 years

You said that if Jesus didn't really exist in The Bible, there wouldn't be any Christians. Yet you repeatedly say that The Bible isn't valid.

The bible wasnt valid because the christians kept changing it and changing it. Before all that the Bible belonged to the JEWS.and they were decended from jews.

And if you don't find witchcraft to be any more particularly valid, then why do you choose to practice it instead?

I can't remember exactly why. But I know it's because I can be free to believe what I want. I don't bow down to some preacher. And we don't follow any scriptures. I have freedom. I believed that earth and people are one, instead of the christian belief. We own the earth, god gave us the earth.

come on sister, forget sabrina, and harry potter

-Sigh....

they are designed to make witchcraft look cool

They don't know the real truth about witchcraft. They are doing this for the sole purpose of ENTERTAINMENT. I hate sabrina, end of story.

thats why their authors are loaded

- some authors want to share knowledge, and others give people misleading information just for money

why do you think harry dies, because he has to be sacrificed,

-You obviously didn't read the final installment of Harry potter. harry potter WON the fight against voldemort. He lived and had 4 children. Harry potter is protrayed as the HERO.

withccrafty is all about

its about honouring the evil creatures that taught you this art and paying them with sacrifices

-Yawn. We don't sacrifice, and we don't look to demons.

this is it's original purpose

read your bible, it contradicts witchcraft for a reason

-It contradicts itself.

there is no goddess, the pagans need it for their own balance but you don't

you like witchcraft but you have issues with it.

Can you name these issues?

you are a little unsure and wanted to justify what it is you are doing?

-unsure? I'm been practicing for 4 years.

thats why you came here to validate your thoughts and our responses.

As god exisits, he would have left us with a tablet of stone on how to behave.

-Who the hell has the right to tell others how to behave? No wonder you people are nothing but clones.

-Work on your spelling and grammar. It's more atrocious than mine.

this is what it says abotu withccraft:

Which goes back to my first question. How does god know? How do you know? How does the bible know?

Witches believe in spells.

-Oh, not this again. witches believe in the same god you do, but they have different names. Again. Those are Fluffy Bunnys.

And if those spells actually worked then the the power to actually produce spells had to come from somewhere.

Yes. from within ourselves.

So if God didn't give you that power then who do you think did. That kind of power is supernatural. And you shouldn't muck with it .

please.

You don't know what you will conjure up.

-I know exactly what I will conjure up.

God as a lesson sometimes allows the evil supernatural to breach dimensions and enter this world or some individual .

there is no such things as evil being.

Some day you will be face to face with God and He will sternly tell you why He doesn't like it .

I would love to ask God. I would like to have a word with him.

I'm not bashing your right to believe as you choose, but can I ask you a question?

If you don't believe *anything* about The Bible, where does your information about Jesus and the Virgin Mother come from? Personally, I believe that much of The Bible is symbolic, but I do follow the teachings of Christ as outlined in the gospels.

Also, what kind of witchcraft do you practice? Do your spells simply allow you to focus your energies specifically on a goal, with the help of your God and Goddess? Or do you practice physical magick, by evoking your God and Goddess to physically charge and alter energy and send them towards a particular person, place, or thing? Because physical magick seems to be more about doing your will, and not God's.

And Jesus himself taught us how to pray, and it didn't involve spell-casting ... so I wouldn't personally choose to do it. But ultimately, its between you and God.

Edit -- Also, I understand your position on The Bible being written by man and therefore could be inaccurate ... however, this could be true of any spiritual texts. Obviously, you had to learn magick from somewhere ... what makes that source more reliable than The Bible?

Once again, not bashing ... just curious.

Edit number two -- Can you show me, or give me examples, of historical and archaeological data that led you to believe in the divinity of God, Jesus, and Mary? Because many secular scholars argue over whether or not Jesus actually existed as a person, let alone that he was the product of a virgin birth. Without The Bible or the non-canonnized writings of the early Christians (the Gnostic gospels, etc), we don't have a clear picture of the life of Jesus. Nothing in history will point out that he was born of a virgin, this idea is STRICTLY Biblical.

Also, I know that physical magick isn't smiled upon by witches in general, but it doesn't mean that no one does it ...

And if you want COMPLETE and total independence from the guidance or direction of God, why worship God at all?

Edit number three -- You said that if Jesus didn't really exist in The Bible, there wouldn't be any Christians. Yet you repeatedly say that The Bible isn't valid. And if you don't find witchcraft to be any more particularly valid, then why do you choose to practice it instead?

I just don't understand how you can rationalize using the Christian Biblical views of Jesus and Mary and then say The Bible is invalid. And by the way, just to let you know -- witchcraft was outlawed by Jews, in the original Torah ... it wasn't something added later or changed.

Levitus 19:26 Ye shall not eat anything with the blood; neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times.

Levitus 19:31 Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizard, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your GOD.

Exodus 22:18 Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.

Deuteronomy 18:10-11 10. There shall notbe found among you any one that maketh his son or daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an obserer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
11. Or a charmer, or consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer,

Witchcraft was forbidden by the Law of Moses, since relying on spirits or powers other than God showed a lack of faith in the one true GOD

Acts 1:9 Jesus went away in the clouds and he is coming back in the clouds Matt 24:30. When he does, it will not be a secret. Even those who rejected and crucified him will see him. Everyone will know who he is, and those who rejected him will mourn because they were so blind to the truth. They will mourn because they rejected him.

Revelation 1:18 I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! An I hold the keys of death and Hades.
He has risen from the dead and will never die again. His crucifixion will not be repeated. He holds the keys, so he is in total control of death and hell. He conquered both by rising from the dead, (resurrection) so John any any other Christian need not fear death or hell.

Revelation1:18 "I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is, and who was and who is to come, the Almighty."

My child, I like you! You are not afraid to speak your mind. Let those who believe in unicorns (mentioned numerous times in the Bible) talking snakes, talking bushes & such believe what they will. They are not going to change, but you will in time. You already see thru the BS and have a pretty good grasp of witchcraft, but have a long way to go. I know, because I have been practicng in this life for 40 years and this is not my first life as a witch, nor will it be my last as I still have much to learn. Keep your path straigt and true and you will do just fine!

in Leviticus it says not to practice witchcraft, God is our creator you must understand that first and foremost. Secondly the bible also tells us not to worship the virgin Mary because she is just the mother and nobody else. Belief is just what it is belief. If you could see god or smell god or touch god then believing in him or his word would just be too easy for anyone to be truly sincere about their beliefs in him. God made it hard for us to believe in him and to follow his words in the bible for a reason, so we would honestly truly believe in him and his words. You will not get the answers you are looking for. Simply put people need to believe in what they believe in and believe honestly and faithfully and in the end when Jesus comes down to judge all people then and only then will each and everyone of us know who is right and who is wrong.

He too is a demon now) 11:14-28, 13:32 (Jesus gives authority), 22:3 (Judas demonically possessed), 22:31-32 (Satan wants to destroy humankind), John 8:44 (devil is the father of lies), John 10:20, 12:31, 13:27 (Judas demonically possessed), 16:11 (Devil will be judged), Acts 5:3-11 (Satan causes people to sin), 7:40-43, 8:7 (devils cause sickness), 8:9-24 (power of Christ cannot be bought. Simon Magus condemned). 10:38 (devil represses people), 13:6-12 (Paul more powerful than sorcerers). Romans 16:20 1 Corinthians 5:9-11 (Christians cannot keep company with idolaters) 6:9, 2Corinthians 2:11, 4:4, 11:14 (Satan can deceive), Ephesians 2:2, 4:27, 6:11-12, 2Thessalonians 2:8-9 1Timothy 4:1, 5:15 (carnal life is evil), 2Timothy 2:26, Hebrews 2:14 (devils are destroyers) James 3:15 (sins are "devilish" Gr. =daimonodes , "demon like") 1Peter 5:8 2Peter 2:4 1 John 2:13 (devil must be overcome) 2:18 & 22 (Antichrists are evil. Wicca based on Crowley’s writings) 3:8-10, 4:3-4 (Antichrists), 2John v.7, Jude v.6 & 9, Revelations 9:11, 12:3-4 & 7-17 (accuser=Satan) Chapter 13 (final Antichrist, whom AMORC Co-founder Crowley was obsessed with, even claiming he was "The Beast 666"!) 14:9-11 (Beast’s followers condemned!) 18:2, 19:2 (Beast’s followers condemned) 20:1-3, (demons condemned) 20:7-10 (deceiver)

Also, Enchanted Gypsy is incorrect. Wicca gets this idea of "no evil" from Aleister Crowley. Islam also believes in Satan (Shaitan). Almost every religion has a concept of Demons and Devils. Hinduism, Taoism, Bhuddism, Shintoism, Zoroastrianism, and Judaism all believe in evil spirits, and all are older than Christianity. They also have a concept of evil, and most have some sort of evil spirit realm similar to the Christian idea of Hell. Anyone who has ever had a class on comparative religion (or read a book on the subject) knows this. The idea Christianity invented the concept of evil is pure lunacy.

You do not believe in the one true LIVING God nor His Son Jesus Christ. The god(s) that you worship are formed (shaped, carved, molded, constructed) in your own mind. As long as you resist the truth in the Word of God aka The Holy Bible, you will be at war with every one and everything that you encounter in this life. Your only hope is to repent and turn from your sinful nature and follow (obey, love, serve with joy) the living God. All else ends in your destruction.

Jesus condemned little of the spiritual. More, the weaknesses of character. But if the words of the Bible are true? He specifically condemned withcraft and the evil eye.
But that doesn't mean He didn't want us to know about and use our spiritual ability. He said anything He did, we could do.
But it's a fine line between using our power for personal growth, and using it to manipulate others. What do the pagans think the Karma is they talk about?
