Its riddles Bob.
Did you ever see the Jean-Pierre Jeunet's film Amelie (Le Fabuleu Destin D'Amelie Poulain 2001), Audrey Tautou wishes that there was a person who could whisper wise sayings into your ear, to reply to people, so you would not have to think of an answer some minutes later, and wish you had said that.
Well the bible is like that, it arms the reader with some wise sayings, that they can insert into any question, except the users do not understand the questions.....
A wise person may be tripped from his/her train of thought by a carefully placed quote that has no context to the discussion. It does not make the speaker wise, but upholds their level of ignorance.
Abraham Lincoln (attributed):
'Tis better to be silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt.

A person who considers them self wise is often caught up in pride. The simple are often more humble and know they are lacking. The saying " too smart for their own good" comes to mind. It just requires a simple faith to believe, but many will tear things apart trying to understand before they accept it and believe.
One of the most faithful and loving believers I ever knew could not even read a street sign. Imagine not being able to read the Bible, or Dawkins. He was not prideful, and perhaps not even aware that he was miles ahead of most of us in Spiritual experience and practical knowledge. Intelligence is not the same as wisdom.

Gideon had a huge army. God made him whittle it down to just 300. Why? So that it would be clear the victory was because of Him and not because of human strength, and also it tested Gideon's trust.
On a spirtual level Jesus said you have to become as a little child to enter the kingdom of God. Why not theologians? Why not those that have memorized every passage of scripture. Simply, because children trust. Trust just as Gideon.

Please let me give you a living example.
Since history has been recorded, mankind has sort peace, tranquillity and prosperity for himself and his family. The world rulers of today all achieve election on the back of a promise of peace and security, in one way or another.
NEVER HAS ANY GOVERNMENT ACHIEVED THIS STATE OF AFFAIRS.
Yet there exists today a group of people from all walks of life, from every country and language of the world living this dream. These are the ones who are frowned upon as gullible and stupid, yet they have achieved what the "wise" of the world find impossible.
Who are they?
You know.

via fact in the time of that element, Gods purpose for the earth and individuals replaced into “Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth.” (Genesis 9:one million) He wanted the human race to unfold all around the earth and populate it, yet Nimrod had yet another plan. He wanted to collect every person in a single region and rule over them. as a result, he began to construct an excellent tower later naming it the Tower of Babel with the intention to collect human beings. His important purpose replaced into to not supply God glory, yet to “make a celebrated call” for himself. God replaced into unlikely to tolerate this disobedience so he at a loss for words their language so as that they won't communicate with one yet another. the effect replaced into that God "scattered them from there over each and every of the outdoors of the earth,” (Genesis 11:5-8) as a effect pleasing his purpose. Babel’s builders have been compelled to earnings a powerful lesson. whilst human plans and God’s purpose selection, “the advice of God is what's going to stand.”

Human teachings are full of human error. If one used his nut.
He would realize it's our Ego Trips that keep us from understanding simple things. Trips like arrogance, false pride, mockery, and denial. Which keep one from using his nut in the first place.

Because it is a bible script to tell the well educated they are nothing without God and that he can take the simple things of perhaps someone not as knowledgeable and confound the wise.
