no,
for one there is being religious and then being spiritual
a lot of religious people have done bad things just as non religious people have. you need to be OK with your self and not compare your self to others. just be the best person you can be and then you will be happy. if you want to dedicate your life to one of these religions it is a calling like a job you know you have to do. sacrifices will have to be made in order to do your calling. maybe you are jealous because you do not know your calling or think how nice it would be to just have the basics and provide services to people i would love to join a Buddhist colony. but these people sacrifice a lot and are dedicated may be your jealous for that reason.

I spent enough time as a monk (Catholic Benedictine) to know that they are just ordinary people trying to live a rather ordinary life. I respect them but I also respect mothers and fathers who devote themselves to their children.
I think you have a grave misunderstanding when you say "you know I feel no matter what I do, I am inferior than they are". The secret is that you are NOT in competition with them or shouldn't be. And neither you nor they are inferior to the other. Live your life as best you can and pray for them as they pray for you. Oh and make friends with some....they, like you and me, need all the friends they can get.

There are many different callings within the Church. Not everyone is called to be a priest or nun. No calling is inferior to any other. Most members of the Church are called to marriage, without which the Church would soon cease to exist. Others are called to religious life, or to various form of service as single persons. The Bible makes it clear that there are many different callings, just as there are many different parts in the body, but one God in Whose service we are called, and that each calling is necessary to the life of the Church, and equally blessed by God.

I know what you mean. I have some advice. First check out this website: http://www.yanktonbenedictines.org/oblates.html

they have a way that one can become a Benedictine Oblate online!

Then pick up a copy of "Christian Prayer" and start doing the daily prayers of the Church - Morning and Evening. The website will help you once you get started in the online program - I am part of it. You can email me if you wish...

See you there.

No, not jealous at all. That is their vocation or for most of them anyway. There's a reason for everything and a purpose for you. You have to search your inner self to see what your vocation is and where it will take you. One of my favorites was Mother Teresa. After reading her journals on her test of faith and asking where is my faith, I came to realize that no matter how much doubt you have stick with it and you will be rewarded. Hope this helps a little anyway. Good luck.

they provide up intercourse simply by defective perception that they are going to get closer to god whilst being abstinant. in actuality in case you seem at society (cathlicts) the different happens. Cathlot preists are the wonderful occasion of ways unfulfilled desires produced abomination in abusing little boys. you will keep in mind that christ suggested that "the guy and the girl are one interior the lord". Throught the scriptures marriage has constantly been useful, basically assisting mum and dad to be greater christlike by ability of elevating infants. Does it make sense for god to place sexual drives in our biology then say that's unholy to fulfill them, yet we ought to have infants to stay to tell the story? No, basically an fool could have self belief in all that contradiction. if having infants is a sin noones going to heaven, and that's no longer any sin i ever study. everybody is at a loss for words approximately this subject count simply by fact the aminstream have not got self belief that god speaks to us anymore. God used to talk to us yet we've got the bible (we could no longer overlook that the bible became prepare 300years after christ died, and that there have been like 12 diverse variations). we don't want god anymore, afterall simply by bible all christians have self belief an identical ingredient (thats why there are like a million differnt christian denomination believing diverse ingredient). the international is transforming into lots greater advantageous besides now, we've exceptionally much to crime, no person lies, we've not got discrimination or hatred in our society (woops, I overlook, everthing i in basic terms suggested is fake and that's consistently getting worse). whilst christs church became on earth that they had prophets and apostles to lead them and coach them approximately any question we've. we've got a mob finding on the bible and attempting to be sure on what it says, or does not say approximately existence right this moment. which became by no ability accomplished in any time the place god became guiding his people. The jews, pharasees and saducees did interpred the scriptures nonetheless (the infants of the devil). we could no longer overlook that they crucified christ. we want prophets and apostles ordained with the priesthood.

Well, considering I'm not catholic, I don't come into contact with priests, nuns, or monks very often.

I admired them and feel bad about myself for committing the same sins everyday. The good news is I can become one of them if i truly ask for the Holy Spirit to help me overcome my sin self.
