No. The Mosaic Laws were put in place to look forward for the coming Messiah. They needed spiritual reminders of CHRIST's coming.

The Mosaic Laws are all still in place.
It's the Levitical Laws that have been done away with by the Cross of Jesus.

We are in a new and better covenant. There are many lessons one can learn from the earlier scriptures, but the new covenant is much better. Mohammed's ideas are more similar to the Old Covenant, although I don't believe they were established by God, as they contradict Christ and the apostles about core matters.
