To members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints - have you asked yourself as I have - why was I born into the church when my friend down the street was not?
We should not be ashamed to boldly declare that this church is the actual true church that Christ Himself restored to the earth- the world needs to know it. For nearly 2000 years, true priesthood authority was not on the earth, until it was restored in 1830 (http://www.lds.org/portal/site/LDSOrg/menuitem.b3bc55cbf541229058520974e44916a0/?vgnextoid=32c41b08f338c010VgnVCM1000004d82620aRCRD&locale=0&sourceId=f71a7befabc20110VgnVCM100000176f620a____&hideNav=1&contentLocale=0).
It's Christ's church, not ours. Anyone who becomes worthy can be baptized and join. But why was I born into an LDS family when my neighbor was not? I kind of doubt it was because I was more vailant in the pre existence - there are far better people in this world than me who are not members of the church.

Oregon- where should I read? email or pm me.
Lucid- there's no official doctrine that I know of about that- I personally think we might have had some input but it probably wasn't ultimately our decision.
oso-loco- cool name. I also believe many others will be saved, but eventually they will need to receive ordinances such as baptism from one with proper authority, either in this life or the next. It'd be better to accept it in this life of course, but all will have another chance. There are so many other blessings as well in the church, but these saving ordinances are definitely among the most important. Pm or email me if you'd like further discussion.
