I remember that Hoyce Gracie guy used to kick everyone's butt with submission holds. Now it's all wigger type of people like Chuck Lidell. This isn't a sport. It's 2 idiots who get in a cage and kick each others butts. All these guys are knuckleheads and on roids. Put them on skates, and any hockey player would take them down, put them in a real ring, and any pro boxer would take them down. These guys are just the loser bullies who we grew up with in school. I can't wait for the day when someone actually dies in the ring so they will finally put an end to this barbaric "sport" This isn't a sport, it's the modern day Gladiator. Put them in a ring with a Tiger like Russell Crowe and lets see who wins. Mark my words, the day someone dies in the ring or because of injuries sustained, is the day this "sport" will be shut down. It's a step up from dog fighting. Michael Vick should try out to be a UFC fighter, since his days of football are over.

By the way, THIS IS A STATEMENT, not a QUESTION, so don't ask me, "Where's the question here"

I agree. It is all barbaric... Savagery.

It has nothing to do with martial arts.

It captures the minds of the weak and steers them towards all the wrong reasons to study martial arts.

Thanks for this statement.

UFC is much more technical now that it was 13 years ago, are you not following this??

Royce beat all of those fighters with extremely limited rules, and it was actually more "barbaric" when Royce fought in the UFC.

STOP thinking about old UFC as the good ol' days. In the first UFC alone One guy's tooth was knocked out, hair was all over the damn ring, and a some even got stomped on the ground. Early UFC was indeed closer to Dog fighting than the modern UFC we see now.

UFC has very technical fighters who have managed to overcome the brute force that early UFC fighter used to win with.

Take Tank Abbot, he's been tapped out many times now by technical grappling.

WIGGER as far as I know are white people trying to be BLACK, and CHuck Liddel is certainly does not act stereotypically "black".

The last time I saw anyone that was black and had a mohawk was Mr. T

Get your facts straight, and if you don't like it, don't watch it. There is a reason that UFC is successful and there is a reason that MMA is the fastest growing sport right now. GET USED TO IT.

Put any boxer on skates and a hockey player would put them down. What are you stupid?

Wigger people like Chuck Liddell? I haven't seen Chuck act like a wigger at all first of all. Second of all... Wow you must be on crack. Try actually doing research and you'd know that the last heavyweight, middleweight, and lightweight title fights all had Brazilian born fighters in them. The 205 champion is black, and the 185 champion is Brazilian.

I can't believe it's been 13 years and people like you still exist. Boxing has a good sized list of fighters who have died and it's still up and running. How can you say MMA is barbaric but boxing isn't? You're just being silly. If MMA is just 2 idiots in a cage, then boxing is just 2 Mexicans dancing in circles. They're all on steroids? Boxers are all on steroids too. See? I can spew random crap too.

It's not a sport for everyone, that is for sure. I like the mental aspect of it, the match up of one fighting style against the other even though they all pretty much have to know all the styles now a days. But I like the competition and the effort they put in. I don't really care about who wins or loses as long as they put up a good fight. i'm not one of these guys who has a favorite fighter and boo's or cheer people on. I definately do not want to see someone die but give these guys credit, they know what they are doing in there and they know how to protect themselves, so hopefully we will not see something like that.

WTF? Oh i see, now you should go into the golf category and say, golf isn't a sport, their balls are too small, they couldn't drive a ball very far if they were on ice skates? or put a nascar driver on a mo-ped and see if he wins, better yet... Silly people making ridiculous claims while in a questions forum.... Oh I am seeing the pattern.. NO REASONING ABILITY WHAT SO EVER
