We moved to a new house with a black floor. The white hairs are terrible visible on it. How to make the dog black?

Hi. I agree with your answers on here to add white rugs to your black floor. They will look stricking against black and it certainly will help with your white hairs from your pup.
Take care. Patti

Forget trying to change the dog. Daily brushing of your dog will take care of a lot of the hairs on the floor. It will also be a good chance to spend some quiet time with your dog.

As far as the floor goes, use a dust mop daily to pick up the hairs. If you don't have a dust mop, use a Swiffer duster. Don't let it build up. Do it twice a day if you need to. It only takes a minute. Damp dust after if you need to.

Just brush the dogs hair regularly so that he does not shed all over the black floor!! Preferably do it outside, and Im pretty sure dying the dog is gonna be considered some kind of animal cruelty if this doesnt work maybe new floor if its bothering you alot.

Think about it this way: you could drive to the groomers every so often to have your dog dyed black which costs money to drive there and back, plus the grooming bill, for the rest of the dog's life, OR-just change your floor once, pay one bill and be done with it.

clean more often, buy a house with different flooring, change the flooring or get over it! at least you can see where the hair is, some of us have to go hunting for it!

Spray paint, or refinish the floors. You don;t want to be living the previous owners floors anyways.

You can't. I had a black chow with white carpets, so my only advice is this: get new flooring put in, or invest in a good vacuum.

Here's a solution to eliminate ANY shedding.

Shave the dog bald :)

Get some white rugs. And leave your dog alone.
