I've been seeing the same guy for 5 years now. We are both divorced and are very well-suited. He makes me laugh, is attentive, sensitive and sexy. Last night I was to go to his house. (my kids are with their dad this weekend). We talked several times during the day and at 5 he told me he was going to meet a friend at a nearby bar but wouldn't be long. I told him I'd be at his house at 7 and he said he should be back, but if not just to go in. I finally went to sleep at 10 and he came in at 2 happy to see me. Needless the say, I wasn't happy to see him. I left early in the morning while he slept. He called and apologized but I am so disappointed. He said he didn't even have fun, should've just come home and doesn't know why he didn't. What's up with him?

Definition of Guy: Handsome, Sexy, Easy to get along with, Easy to fall in love with, Sometimes can be VERY irratating, and stupid.

That's just how it is. Guys are stupid sometimes, and some are more than others. Sounds to me like your guy is not pulling enough weight on his side. You should explain to him how you feel/felt when he ditched you for the bar. If he doesn't understand, then you have to choose whether to let it go and move on, or whether you really want to be with this guy. It sounds to me like this is just something you have to put up with, with him. All guys have that. There's certain features of every guy that are annoying. You have to choose what features you're willing to put up with.

Is this the first time he's done this? Then maybe you should give him another chance, but you should explain how you feel.

If it isn't....well how many times has it been? Maybe it's time to move on....maybe the last year or more has just been you putting up with his crap...and hoping this will work out. Well if it's been even five or six months of putting up with it i think it's time to find someone better. I know it's hard...i was there. I broke up with my bf, and i'm so happy i did. I've met so many new bf's that are so much better...and now i think i've finally found "the one" ... and it's all because i took a step into the unknown, and took a risk.

Good luck hun!
