There are a lot of English as a second language classes in the community. Sometimes it's easier for a stranger with more patience and experience to teach this. If you want to do this yourself, start with common objects and teach her these names. Then you can proceed to frequently used phrases. You can use simple books for practice and make flash cards using pictures cut out of magazines. Make sure that she can sound out all the letters of the alphabet and then would at least have a chance of phoenetically pronouncing a word.

I think that if you Googled English as a Second Language, you would find a lot of info and some ideas on how to do it in a more systematic way than just going over words. Good luck. (I've heard of Urdu but I don't remember where it's from.)
