Stop buying it.
Or switch to almond butter. It's supposed to be better for you.

As long as you are not eating other foods that aren't healthy for you (like fried fatty meats, dairy products, deep fried) and not over consuming peanut butter, there is nothing wrong. Fat content is what you have to worry about. In peanut butter, is natural and gives a quick boost of energy, not the carbohydrate (sugar) that is satisfying you. Just try eating it with some celery or other vegetables that fill you up faster, because it takes 20 minutes to feel full.

I just had a two month spell of peanut butter and celery. It was about all I ate and then suddenly I lost all desire for it. I didn't switch to anything in particular. My dad was a doc and he said the body always craved fat if cold weather is coming up. Come to think of it that doesn't apply to me cause by spell was back in May /June. Well maybe it will go away for you too. I know the body needs fat to metabolize vitamins A and D....maybe that's got something to do with it.
here's a couple websites

Maybe u could try natural peanut butter with NO sugar added to make sure it isn't the sugar your bod is after. If your blood sugar gets low I think you are apt to crave sugar or booze....candy is dandy but liquor is quicker... old expression

I love Peanut Butter too.
I used to eat it by the jar, but i stopped. [:
You WANT to stop, right?
So you need to think real hard.
So whenever you get that 'craving' for the Peanut butter, you need to remember WHY you need to stop. Because it IS fattening.
And, If you eat too much of it, It will not only fatten you up, but it will infact clog your arteries, making you have more of a chance to get heart disease or have a heart attack.
If you just remind yourself, and try not to eat it for as long as you can, Your 'cravings' and obsession will soon be a thing of the past.
[:
I hope I've helped!

Get the reduced fat peanut butter. Trust me you won't like it and then it will sit in the pantry and that way you won't eat peanut butter anymore. lol works for me!

Don't buy it.
The only good way is not have it in your house. I have to do this too about Butter Pecan ice cream. I love that stuff!
