please im 14 and realy need your help!
are wieghts any good, like hand weights
i am thinking of getting them tomoworw and need ur advice
and what kg should i get

what do hand weights do, do they make u faster and stronger

I assume you are talking about small hands weights and not bar bells. Special care should be used in practicing with them and you should throw techniques half speed and power or less as anything faster may cause hyper extension and a lot of wear and tear on the elbow and wrist as well as on your ligaments, muscles, and tendons. A safer way to make you faster would be doing explosive push-ups and tricep dips or lifting weights in general.

You do explosive push-ups by literally pushing up so hard and fast that you lift your upper body off the floor and then catch yourself on your hands as you drop back down. Don't let your body hit or bounce off the floor.

Tricep dips can be done by sitting in a chair and scooting your butt forward off the seat of the chair and holding yourself up on the palms of your hands and your heels out in front of you while bending at the waist. You then ease the seat of your butt down almost to the floor and push back up with your arms so that your butt is level with the seat of the chair.

At the age of 14 I would suggest working on your core and not your limbs... abs (I fell in love with roman sit-up when I was 15-17) see if you can get to 500, you will have a rock hard stomach, pects try butterfly curls.... at a young age your joints havent developed yet but you core is strong... not to mention chicks dig a six pack and good chest... it will help you develope you MA skill while you body is developing as well

they don't make u faster they make u stronger if u use them the right way. i would say get the 15 pounds do as many as u can put them down and that will be 1 set do 3 sets

for example if u can do 50 do it for 3 sets and next time try to do more becuz if u don't u won't get any stronger.

its working for me and i'm getting bigger mucsels so i know it works

Weights? Sure. Why not? I would spend more of your time in English classes. Their results will last longer.
