I'm sitting down to write thank you notes for our wedding. Should I just write both our names or should I just write mine and have him write his own name??

Modbride, my wife of 4 months signed both of our names on the thank you cards. Fact of live is that she is much neater writer then I and so looks better also. I helped by going through the cards and telling her what we had received from the people as she wrote them, but did not do any signing myself.

My boyfriend and I plan on each doing half the thank you notes. He'll write my name as well as his on the cards he writes, and I'll write both our names on the cards I write. I really don't think it matters, though. You can have him sign his name (and vice versa) if you want!

Just write them both as you go

You can but personally I think he's enjoying the gifts as well and since you are doing the notes he can take a few minutes to scratch out a signature.

I already let my HTB know that thank you's are getting split 50/50....I am not going to be stuck with all the work. After all, he got off pretty clean and didn't have to deal with much planning beforehand.

Honey, just sign them both. My husband and I have been married so long and I have signed his name on so much that if he even signed his own name on a check he's be arrested! Just sign and save the time!

two different hand writings would look funny, so you write both, it's traditional that the women always take on this job anyway.

Just write both. Get used to it - you'll be doing it throughout your marriage!

Just sign both of your names. It's easier and looks neater too.

You can sign both of your names. It isn't a problem.

I'm betting your doing them for a reason, so it's ok to sign for both.
