I've been thinking. I am angry with the christian religion. Why? Well because I believed in this crap so long only to find out it really is bull. And I am angry I ever believed it in the first place. I feel like I lost money that I never really had.

I felt the same way when I was told that Santa was not real. I was angry because I would not get anymore presents from him. Even though he was never real to begin with.

So should I have never been told there was a Santa?
Would that have been better?

hopefully you got over being mad at your folks about Santa.
I would bet that your anger goes away about God too. I am there I understand. However, I am coming to the conclusion that to waste anymore of my time with this stuff is... Well a waste.

Get over it people lie every day. You know the truth now. Let's move on together.

What would have been better?
To know the truth from the start.
The truth is you have experienced the counterfeit christianity.
Jesus said it would exist.
May I quote?
"Many will say to me, ‘Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?’ And then I will confess to them: I never knew YOU! Get away from me, YOU workers of lawlessness."
Matthew 7:22
People claiming to be christian, doing powerful works, but Jesus calls them workers of lawlessness.
The Apostle Peter said something similar:
"After my going away oppressive wolves will enter in among YOU and will not treat the flock with tenderness, and from among YOU yourselves men will rise and speak twisted things to draw away the disciples after themselves."
Acts 20:29.
Christianity was to be corrupted and you have suffered from that consequence.
Try the real brand.
What is it?
Matthew 7:13 "Broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and MANY are the ones going in through it, whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and FEW are the ones finding it."
Don't look to mainstream religions.
The real Christianity is out there, associated with a relatively small group.

What made you stop believing? Please remember the purpose of our lives here is to be tested, to have our faith tested. God won't "prove" himself to you the way you're wanting him to - he won't prove himself at all until you exercise enough faith and humility to really search, ponder, pray, and listen to what he tries to tell you in your heart.

Think of what you're feeling right now- anger, hurt- those are not feelings God wants you to have. Think of the feelings you had when you still believed- were you happier? Was there more purpose to your life?

The post above mine refered to corrupted christianity - unfortunately, he's right- for nearly 2000 years, Christ's true church did not exist in it's fullness. Not until it was restored in 1820 by the visitation of God and angels (see source below). It can be hard to find if you don't know where to look... don't take my word for it- search, study, ponder, pray, keep trying...

Ok Ok calm down. Take a deep breath. Now breath out. Breath in again and breath out. Now go and drink some milk, eat some cookies and watch an episode of Spongebob Squarepants and everything will be better.

So, are you saying you've been traumatized by your parent's lie that there was a Santa?
I've never believed in him. I can't appreciate your pain in finding out the truth.
I do, however, believe in God.

God loves you, and so do we.

He hates lies and sins however. No one stopped you from getting Christmas presents.

i grew up dirt poor and only got socks and underwear for Christmas ... I kid you not!

It is a pure coincidence that I lost faith in God not long after realizing St Nicholas died long ago (actually, that fact clear up some pressing questions).

But they could not keep my Lord in the grave. His tomb is open for all to see! Jesus is ALIVE!!!
