I want to have an off-white, "peachy" white in my film BW pics. Instead of a blaring, harsh white.

Print on warm toned papers. There are many for both digital and traditional B&W darkroom printing.

There are other ways to warm up your images, but this is the place I would start and it is probably going to give you the best results.

You have to actually dye the photo after it's been pritned. Some shade of Sepai would probably we right. You can find the chemical to make the changes at most photography stores.

can you alter them with a photo program on your computer?

I have a program on my computer that is a basic Windows program, but would do your "peachy"thing very well..
