Calling all atheists : In Islam, there are specific signs named about the end times. Some of these signs have passed, and some are yet to come.. and as for the signs that have passed, how do you explain them? If Islam truly wasn't the word of god, then how come these signs came true?
How bout you see the signs for yourself : http://etori.tripod.com/dajjalsystem/judgement.html
Remember, as you read along, you know some of the signs have passed.
For example :
-- Smog will appear over cities because of the evil that they are doing (Pollution, especially in China)
-- The conquest of Constantinople by the Muslims ( The Crusades)
--People will hop between the clouds and the earth (airplane)
--A man will pass by a grave and wish that he was in their place
--The people of Iraq will recieve no food and no money due to oppression by the Romans (Europeans) -- ISNT THAT HAPPENING RIGHT NOW !!
How do you explain these signs..? Half them have come true, and half of the signs are

not only athiests, but those non muslims should also tkae a look at this!!
edit: yo look at this
The word number of times mentioned in Arabic Quran:
Dunia (one name for life) 115 ¡
Aakhirat (one name for the life after) 115
Malaikat (angels) 88 ¡ Shaytan (satan) 88
Life 145 ¡ Death 145
Benefit 50¡ Corrupt 50
People 50 ¡ Messengers 50
Eblees (king of devils) 11 ¡ Seek refuge from eblees 11
Museebah (calamity) 75 ¡ Thanks 75
Spending (sadaqah) 73 ¡ Satisfaction 73
people who are Mislead 17 ¡ Dead people 17
Muslimeen 41 ¡ Jihad 41
Gold 8 ¡ Easy life 8
Magic 60 ¡ Fitnah (dissuasion, misleading) 60
Zakat (taxes Muslims pay for the poor) 32 ¡
Barakah (increasing or blessings of a wealth) 32
Mind 49 ¡ Noor (light) 49
Tongue 25¡ Sermon 25
Desire 8 ¡ Fear 8
Speaking publicly 18¡ Publicising 18
Hardship 114 ¡ Patience 114
Muhammad 4 ¡ Sharee*ah (Muhammad's teachings) 4
Man 24 ¡ Woman 24
And amazingly enough have a look how many times the following words appear:-
Month 12
Day 365
sea 32
Land 13
Sea + land = 32 + 13 = 45
% sea = 32/45 * 100 % = 71.11111111
% land= 13 / 45 * 100 % = 28.88888889 = 100.00
Modern Science has only recently proven that the water covers 71.111 % of the earth, while the land covers 28.889 %.
Is this a coincidence?
Who taught prophet Mohammad (PBUH) all this?
Allah, the All Mighty taught him this.
As the Quran tells us:
(This is) a Book, the Verses whereof are perfected (in every sphere of knowledge, etc.), and then explained in detail from One (Allâh),Who is All-Wise and Well-Acquainted (with all things).' (Quran 11:1)
The above is from the the series of the scientific miracles in
Quraan, by Dr. Tariq Al Suwaidan May ALLAH Bless us all.

Well, we just do not believe as you do. And no I'm not a stupid Atheist! I have looked into many aspects of God. " Judgment Day" is every day. Live for now, look at your family and all the good they give you not the bad of the world. I do not care what Islam or what ever God you pray to said a lot of people tell the further and they are not Gods. These are YOUR signs not the whole of the world.

I don't know much about Islam. I do know that you can take anything and call it a "sign". Jack Van Impe claims that the breaking of the sound barrier on the Salt Flats in Utah was foretold in Revelation. That hi-intensity lights are a sign. It's getting silly.
People in 1840 thought the end was coming, too. And at several other times throughout recorded history.

If you lived 100 years ago, you would be seeing the same signs. People have been predicting the end of the world since the dawn of recorded history. It has still yet to come. In all honesty, the only thing I see ending human civilization is humanities inability to let go of irrational and destructive beliefs, and the human race's drive to demonize and externalize the "other". In other words, our primitive tribal identities, which helped us survive and build societies so long ago; all of the things that led us up to the modern world will be our undoing. Organized religion is, in my opinion, the number one expression of our ancient tribal identities. It is good to know where you have come from, but it is time to let them go.
Edit: I just now realized the implications of the 50:1 ratio thing (I am in slow-mo today). I think I might start rooting for the "end times"!

as these "prophecies" seem to mix and match Islam and Christianity in a way that does not seem consistent with either, I cannot take them seriously. This seems to be a hoax, in my opinion.
And "signs" are a dime a dozen if you're looking for them. Here's a prophecy I just made up: "And lo, there shall be a great storm, and the mountain shall slide into the sea. There shall be great suffering, and human and beast alike shall know a briny death." Whether next month, year, or millenium, it's going to be true, sooner or later.

If I believed this (and I don't,) one of those signs listed is a 50:1 ratio of women to men. We're quite a ways away from that, so there is no cause for even the faithful to worry.
EDIT: Odd Job Man - Time Travel was predicted by H.G. Wells - not Jules Verne.

The author Jules Verne also predicted things such as spaceflight, submarines etc.
He also predicted time travel.
Why don't you take notice of him, his first two predictions which were specific have actually become reality already.

So why has Damascus never fallen?
Isaiah 17:1 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.
When is Egypt suddenly going to switch to a dead language?
Isaiah 19:18 In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan, and swear to the LORD of hosts; one shall be called, The city of destruction.

None of those examples are making me gasp with shock. They can quite easily be explained as pure coincidence and a lot of attempting to make links when there might not actually be any. I'm sure that's how you explain the Bible Code.
