preferably big. Because most of of my dogs (past and present) are big.
I'm too used to deal with them physically. If i play with small dog...I may be too rough for their size.

Actually, I prefer the temperament of a golden, but the body of a small dog.
Goldens have perfect personalities. They just aren't lap dogs and they shed. So this is a hard question.

I prefer small dogs and i own two chihuahuas . I also used to own big dogs as well . good luck .

small dogs! I would hate to have to pick up big poop. Gross. Also I have 2 little dachshunds and they take up enough room in the bed, we don't have room for any big dogs!

both , had small dogs and had big ones too now I heave a medium size so as you can see I love them all

It does not matter , I love all dogs. My favorite breeds are chow - chow, black or chocolate labs, or golden retrievers; with golden retrivers as my absolute favorite. I currently have a Beagel, she is my first Beagel, I needed a smaller - less sheding bread for an apartment. Beagels are very sweet loving dogs.

i love all dog sizes, but a small dog is so much better to take care of , and there life span is a greater for them to be your friend and love one///
