Your county animal control will have lots of dogs and cats and they will be neutered, have all their shots and it will usually be less than $100. Best of all, you are saving a dog from death row.
thanks for rescuing an animal in need.

Go to a local SPCA or PAWS place and adopt a dog. I actually got my dog at the pet store. She was an 800.00 dollar dog that I got for 199.00 dollars. She was 7 months old, the older they get at the pet store the more likely they are to go on sale. She is a beautiful Beagle. They even had dewormed her and given her allher shots. Once I got her all I had to do was get her a rabies shot and I still have to get her spayed.
So you could consider getting a slightly older dog from the pet store when available.

Charlotte humane society has some nice dogs for adoption. I went there to look at a Weimaraner they had up for adoption, they are located in South Charlotte on Toomey Road. Go to their website to view their dogs they also give directions on how to get there.
All the dogs have been spayed or neutered and are up to date on routine shots.

I am sure that Charlotte is big enough to have an animal shelter, and probably more than one. Check your local yellow pages!
