All the 'decent' Countries (i.e. those where the 'rule of law' is respected) require you to submit your financial details and Police checks before letting you in ..

Only the EU permits criminals to move around freely and the EU Governments and tax authorities share information .. so no escape there then..

If you took out a student loan you have to pay it back, regardless of your citizenship.

I've had to pay mine back, it took me five years, and it cost me well over £100 a month. You should have to pay yours back just like everyone else, otherwise we have all paid for you! Grrrr

I think you might. If you never earn more than - what is it 15k? - then you won't have to pay it back either will you?

gee, you were educated and now don't want to pay back the money...........sure,,,who needs a conscience..............oh watch out if your new country does a check on you....maybe they don;t want a person who does that.....
